Kwaku Manu has disclosed a recent accident he narrowly escaped while discussing Lilwin’s tragic accident that resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy named Nana Yaw.
According to Manu, the other driver’s careless behaviour could have led to his demise. The driver informed him that the steering rack had detached while he was driving, rendering the vehicle uncontrollable.
Express GH TV shared a video on their YouTube channel, where Kwaku Manu assured everyone that he emerged unscathed from the incident since his vehicle remained unaffected by the accident.
“When I got to the scene of the accident, the driver had already left the vehicle, so I went up to him and asked a few questions. I couldn’t film a video because of how serious the situation was. He mentioned that the steering rack had detached while he was driving… anyone could face such challenges.
“I was very close to colliding with him, so if he had steered towards me, there could have been a collision. It’s possible that the driver knew about the issue with the steering rack but decided to drive anyway, which could have been fatal for me. But I’m not going to die anytime soon,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lilwin has been arrested by the police at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command following his release from the hospital.
The arrest is in connection with a recent accident in which he was driving and tragically caused the death of a three-year-old boy.
The family of the deceased has been demanding justice, leading to intensified efforts by the police.
Despite the delay in his arrest due to his health condition, a police vehicle was stationed at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to take him into custody immediately after his discharge.
