Actress and movie producer Vivian Jill has assured fans that the industry is still very much alive and thriving.

In a recent interview, Vivian revealed the challenges she’s been facing in gathering key figures for upcoming projects, citing how even top actresses like Nana Ama McBrown and Mathilda are constantly occupied with their own commitments.

“Right now, everyone is busy. Even I am about to start a new project,” Vivian said. “If you call anyone, they are all busy. I recently worked on a project and tried to reach Nana Ama McBrown, but she was tied up with something else.

“I called Mathilda, and she was also on set. Last week, I needed another actress, and she told me she couldn’t make it because she was also on set.”

For many, the perception that Kumawood is struggling to regain its former glory has been hard to shake. However, Vivian was quick to clarify that this isn’t a sign of decline.

“It’s not that there’s an issue with Kumawood or the industry. Everyone is just busy,” she explained. According to her, the real challenge lies in aligning schedules, but she remains optimistic about the future of the industry.

Vivian reassured fans that despite these challenges, the industry continues to move forward. “It’s just a matter of getting everyone together at once. But we’ll definitely be doing something big to show that Kumawood is still here and thriving,” she promised.
