Social media has always been a platform for artists to express themselves, and sometimes those expressions come with a bit of heat.
Recently, a Twitter exchange between former Lynx Entertainment signed acts Kuami Eugene and Dope Nation sparked some attention.
It all started when Dope Nation tweeted: “Let’s see how you carry the so-called ‘Lynx curse’ now. What was meant for four people is now for one person.
“We wish you well, @KuamiEugene.” The tweet seemed to poke fun at the idea that Lynx Entertainment’s success story is a double-edged sword, with a nod to the notion that the label’s artists often face unique pressures.
Kuami Eugene wasted no time firing back with a response that was equal parts confident and dismissive.

“Anyone looking for attention to drop another gym song should wait. I’m dropping a classic on my birthday come Saturday for quality music listeners, and then I will make some time, ok?” he tweeted.
