Kofi Kinaata Killed Our Son- Family of Deceased Motorcyclist Demands Justice

The young motorcyclist identified as Lawrence Sey who was reportedly involved in the ghastly accident with Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has died.

In a fresh development, eyewitnesses recounted the harrowing events, stating that the driver of Kinaata’s Land Cruiser V8 Prado left his lane to overtake motorcyclists, resulting in a collision with two bikes.

One eyewitness reported that Lawrence was on one of the bikes with his passenger, Andrews when the vehicle struck them. “Lawrence was trapped under the car, which dragged him into a pit in the bushes,” the witness told Gossips 24.

Despite immediate medical attention, Lawrence succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the hospital, while Andrews is currently receiving treatment at Afia Nkwanta Hospital.

The second motorcycle, carrying a female rider and a male passenger, managed to avoid a worse fate. “Seeing what happened to the first motorbike, the driver swerved, and his passengers jumped off,” the eyewitness added.

In a heartbreaking plea for justice, Lawrence’s family expressed their anguish, stating, “You left your lane, overtook, and knocked him into a pit. The way my son died, you will die the same way.”

They are demanding accountability following the loss of their loved one.

GhanaStreetJournal previously reported that Kofi Kinaata refuted circulating claims that a driver died following a recent road accident involving his vehicle.

In an official statement, the artist clarified that no fatalities occurred from his side of the incident.

“No driver is dead. Those claiming a driver died should stop spreading that misinformation. We were in a Land Cruiser when a motorcycle with two passengers crossed our path,” Kinaata explained.

He reassured his fans that both he and his team were unharmed after the incident.
