US rapper Kodak Black is trending following a piece of advice he shared with a group of football players.

He asked the youngsters to avoid drugs, but he added an intriguing perspective, suggesting that drugs are so appealing that once someone tries them, they may find it impossible to resist.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Black was captured delivering a motivational talk to a youth football team in his home state of Florida, though his insights were far from traditional.

“Say no to drugs, they too good. Y’all gone like them and go crazy,” he told the kids, prompting laughter from some of the adults watching on.

Turning serious, Yak then said: “This right here will teach y’all discipline and all that good shit. You gotta go to school to you play football. You gotta have your education. This is what you’ll learn: team, brotherhood and all that.

“You know what team means? Team means Together Everyone Achieve More. Ain’t no one bigger than the team.”

The rapper then places a chain around the neck of one of the players and daps him up.
