Kim Kardashian has purportedly decided to take a break from her aspiration of becoming a lawyer, citing the arduous nature of her studies.
The 43-year-old reality TV icon, who had been vocal about her desire to follow her late father’s legal path, encountered difficulties in passing her baby bar exam. After finally succeeding on her fourth attempt in 2021, it appears that her focus has shifted towards her various businesses and family commitments, leaving little room for legal pursuits in the public eye.
Kim, known for her appearances on the hit show “The Kardashians,” oversees her own brands, including SKIMS, and has ventured into partnerships such as with PE SKKY. Additionally, she balances her role as a mother with four children: North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4.
A source close to Kim revealed to The Sun that she found the continuous studying required for her law exams to be “tedious.” The source elaborated, stating that dropping out would reflect poorly on her given her previous declarations about her passion for advocating prison reform. Despite her struggles with the rigorous study regimen, Kim persevered, though midterm exams last year proved to be a significant setback.
Over the span of six years, Kim’s SKIMS brand has burgeoned into a formidable enterprise valued at over $4 billion.
Rumors of her romantic life have also surfaced, with sightings of her alongside NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. during Super Bowl LVIII weekend in Las Vegas sparking speculation.
During an appearance on the “This Life of Mine” podcast with James Corden, Kim discussed her openness to future marriage plans, outlining her criteria for a potential partner. She emphasised the importance of responsibility, dental hygiene, independence, and self-sufficiency.
Should Kim decide to marry again, it would mark her fourth marriage, following unions with Kris Humphries, Damon Thomas, and Kanye West.
