Rumors are swirling that Kendrick Lamar could be making a surprise appearance on the highly anticipated Clipse album, Let God Sort Em Out.
The speculation was ignited by TikTok user Nigel Cooper, who posted a video diving into the infamous 2023 feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones, highlighting the fiery diss tracks exchanged between the two.
In his video, Cooper features the unreleased track “Chains & Whips,” a song that Clipse premiered during a Louis Vuitton fashion show in 2023.
However, things took an unexpected turn when Cooper revealed that TikTok had muted the audio in his video after a copyright strike was issued by Universal Music Group (UMG), citing “Chains & Whips” as the reason for the takedown.
What caught fans’ attention, though, was the alleged note in the copyright order, which stated that the track features none other than Kendrick Lamar.
While neither Clipse nor Kendrick have confirmed the collaboration, this cryptic hint has fueled excitement among hip-hop fans who are eagerly awaiting more details.
With both Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar known for their sharp lyrical prowess, the potential pairing has fans speculating about the direction of the Clipse project and what surprises it may hold.
For now, the rumours remain just that—rumours—until an official word comes from the artists themselves.
