Popular on-air personality and disc jockey Merqury Quaye has shared his insights on the ongoing tensions between rising star Kelvyn Boy and the acclaimed artist Stonebwoy.
His comments come in light of Kelvyn Boy’s claims of being snubbed by Stonebwoy despite attempts to reconcile their differences.
Quaye’s critique centres around the perceived lack of respect in Kelvyn Boy’s remarks, suggesting that they fell short of acknowledging the profound impact Stonebwoy has had on his career.
“I don’t know the full details of the issue between him and Stonebwoy, but listening to his tone, it’s clear there is disrespect,” Quaye stated, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect in the music industry.
In his comments, Quaye highlighted that Stonebwoy has been instrumental in supporting Kelvyn Boy’s career.

“A person who has held your hand and done great things for you deserves respect,” he noted, suggesting that Kelvyn Boy’s tone did not reflect a desire to mend fences.
Quaye pointed out that the way one speaks about past mentors and collaborators can significantly influence public perception and future relationships.
He made the statement after Kelvyn Boy broke his silence on the long-standing rift with his former mentor, Stonebwoy, expressing his willingness to resolve their differences.
In an interview on Hitz FM on Thursday, September 26, Kelvyn Boy shared his frustrations over failed attempts to mend their relationship, which has been strained for years.
“I’ve been trying for years. It is not the first thing I think about when I wake up from bed, but when it comes to my issue with Stonebwoy, I wish we thrashed it out,” Kelvyn Boy revealed.
