Afrobeats sensation Kelvynboy has broken his silence on the long-standing rift with his former mentor, Stonebwoy, expressing his willingness to resolve their differences.
In an interview on Hitz FM on Thursday, September 26, Kelvynboy shared his frustrations over failed attempts to mend their relationship, which has been strained for years.
“I’ve been trying for years. It is not the first thing I think about when I wake up from bed, but when it comes to my issue with Stonebwoy, I wish we thrashed it out,” Kelvynboy revealed.

He emphasized that despite his repeated efforts to reconcile, Stonebwoy appears reluctant to engage in meaningful discussions.
“Any time we’ve tried, I don’t think he’s ready. But me, I dey,” he added, signalling his openness to patch things up.
The relationship between the two artists soured in 2019 when Kelvynboy parted ways with Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group, sparking rumours of a fallout.
Although both artists have occasionally addressed the issue in interviews, a resolution remains elusive.
Kelvynboy’s recent comments suggest a continued desire for closure, but Stonebwoy’s stance on the matter appears to be a roadblock.
