According to a report from The Washington Post, Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori are facing legal action over serious allegations.
The accusations involve racism and the exposure of minors to explicit content in a recent lawsuit.
The lawsuit, filed by eight former employees of West’s YZYVSN streaming service, which was created to showcase his upcoming Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign, claims that the rapper, along with his former chief of staff Milo Yiannopolous and Yeezy company, fostered a discriminatory work environment with harsh conditions and failed to compensate several staff members as promised.
The ex-employees allege that they experienced racist, sexist, and homophobic mistreatment while communicating online through platforms like Discord, where they were referred to as “slaves” and “new slaves,” a reference to one of Kanye’s songs.
The lawsuit also states that derogatory remarks were made towards Black team members, and only white team members were assured developer roles at Yeezy.
Furthermore, the plaintiffs, including minors as young as 14, claim they were exposed to inappropriate content by Bianca Censori, who allegedly shared a file containing explicit material with one employee.
“No guardrails were put in place to prevent the underage YZYVSN workers from working on Yeezy Porn, or to prevent them from being exposed to and being forced to view pornography to perform their work,” the suit reads.
