The official trailer for Jonathan Majors’ highly anticipated film, “Magazine Dreams,” was released today by Briarcliff Entertainment. The film, which stars Majors as an aspiring bodybuilder named Killian Maddox, explores themes of ambition, obsession, and the quest for human connection.
Originally acquired by Searchlight Pictures, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, the film premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews. However, after Majors was found guilty of assault and harassment charges in December 2023, Searchlight decided to pull the film from its release schedule.
In October 2024, Briarcliff Entertainment stepped in to acquire the distribution rights and has scheduled the film for release on March 21, 2025. Despite the controversy surrounding its lead actor, the film has garnered significant attention and praise for Majors’ powerful performance.
