The Technical Advisor to the Vice President, Dr. Tiah Abdul-Kabiru Mahama, has urged Ghanaians not to elect former President John Dramani Mahama again.

On Thursday, February 9, 2023, during an interview broadcast on the Good Morning Ghana show, Dr. Tiah Abdul-Kabiru stated John Mahama had been given the chance to lead Ghana but had been unable to do so because he did not know how to solve the country’s problems.

He went on to say that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have solved Ghana’s issues, contrary to former President John Mahama’s administration.

“John Mahama has got all the opportunities he had as a president, as a vice president, as a member of parliament. He has gone through the ropes, but he has not been able to identify the problems of this country.

“And even if he did identify the problems of this country, he never was able to provide a solution to them. Now, it’s six years down the line, Mr. Felix thinks that they have now found the magic wand that they can use to be able to provide the solution to this government.”

When asked by the host, Dr. Randy Abbey, of the Good Morning Ghana show whether the current government had found a solution to Ghana’s problems, he said,

“Ghana’s solution has been found. The managements of the economy are working seriously on this solution, this solution may come at a cost to the people of Ghana.”
