In a highly anticipated move, Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming legal drama series “Presumed Innocent,” starring acclaimed actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The mini series, based on the 1987 novel of the same name by Scott Turow, follows the story of Rusty Sabich, a Chicago prosecutor who finds himself on the other side of the law when he is accused of murdering his mistress.

Gyllenhaal, known for his versatile performances, takes on the role of Sabich, a man who must fight to prove his innocence in the face of overwhelming evidence and public scrutiny.

The trailer, which debuted on May 22, 2024, showcases Gyllenhaal’s powerful portrayal of a man torn between his duty to the law and his own personal demons. The series, which also stars Ruth Negga, Peter Sarsgaard, and Renate Reinsve, promises to be a gripping exploration of the legal system and the complexities of human nature.
