The recent emergence of a deeply moving audio message from the late Ghanaian gospel artist, Jacob Adjola Mawulo, has stirred emotional reactions across social media.
In the recording, Jacob speaks to his younger brother Eben, offering heartfelt advice on life in his absence. This recording, shared by Ola Michael on Neat FM, provides a glimpse into the singer’s final thoughts.
Jacob Mawulo’s message was far from a simple farewell; it was a personal guide meant to prepare his brother for a future without him. He spoke openly about managing different aspects of life—from financial matters to romantic relationships and spiritual well-being.
Mawulo’s advice was comprehensive. He guided his brother not only on how to navigate these personal spheres but also on how to handle the responsibilities and possessions he would leave behind.

Here’s what he said;
“I am sharing my experience with you. Focus on yourself….find your purpose…invest in yourself. Never make a mistake and invest in a woman….she’s there cuz of what u can do for her. When the cup runs empty… she will leave…. and we don’t pour from an empty cup. Make Christ your only hope! Trust nobody! If u wanna travel and the chance comes…go, because there’s hardship in Ghana. I hide this from the family, I stopped teaching in June …y’all thought I was working as a teacher, but I stopped. Stop that church and find a new church and go. Change ur surname…. what happened to our Dad has happened to me. Love God and his work. He’s the only light.”
