In a Twitter video, mainstream actress Jackie Appiah appears startled and perplexed as a TV host claims to have paid her $10,000 for uncompleted work.
The video, which has over 50,000 views on TikTok, ultimately revealed itself to be a hoax, leaving the actress baffled and embarrassed.
“Do you remember that one day you took someone’s money, you were supposed to come and play in Ivory Coast and you never came?” The woman asked the actress.
“I paid you $10,000….. My dear, you have to give me my money or you get out of this premises right now.” She continues furiously.
Jackie came in and asked, “What account did you pay the money to, if I may ask?”
Woman: I paid to john… we can ask John Dumelo.
Jackie: No no no, where did you pay him? Then if you paid to John then you didn’t pay to Jackie Appiah so you don’t have a case with Jackie Appiah.
Woman: No no no he told me he will give you the money.
Jackie: Then you have to call John here.
Woman: Yes let’s call John.
Jackie began to chuckle with relief at this realisation, as a third party, John Dumelo, was named as the one who actually took the money to be given to her.
