Ghanaian record producer Robert Prah, better known as IZJOE Beatz, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicBurnerz Music, formalizing his role as the personal sound producer for the label’s prominent artist, Amerado.
The deal, which happened July 1, 2024, is part of a strategic partnership, was sealed by MicBurnerz Music’s CEO, Joseph Jenkins Mensah, and outlines IZJOE’s responsibilities in shaping the musical output of the rising rapper.
Known for his mastery across a range of genres—Afro-pop, Hip hop, Afrobeats, R&B, Hiplife, Fuji, and Highlife—IZJOE Beatz has quickly established himself as a versatile force in the Ghanaian music industry.
His remarkable production skills have been highlighted in his work on Amerado’s hit single “Kweku Ananse,” a song that not only topped the charts but also earned widespread critical acclaim. The track went on to win the “Best Highlife Song of the Year” at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards and secured IZJOE a nomination for “Producer of the Year” at the 2024 edition of the same awards.
The MoU, signed between IZJOE and the record label, underscores MicBurnerz Music’s commitment to enhancing the sound and creativity of their roster, especially with Amerado being one of the front-runners of the label. By bringing on IZJOE in an official capacity, the company looks forward to a fruitful collaboration that will continue to push the boundaries of Ghanaian music.

Part of the MoU document signed by Joseph Jenkins Mensah, CEO of MicBurnerz Music, states: “IzJoe Beatz will collaborate with Amerado and MicBurnerz Music to ensure high-quality music production.”
