Ghanaian singer Mzbel has voiced her disappointment over being sidelined despite her unwavering support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, she lamented that while some of her colleagues have secured political appointments, she has not even received a call.
“However, I’m disappointed that some of my colleagues have been given appointments while I’ve not even been called.

Considering the fact that I’ve really been bullied, insulted and even threatened because of NDC, so it’s disappointing that with the party in power now, Mzbel has been forgotten and no one has bothered to even get in touch with me,” she said.
The singer, who has been vocal about her loyalty to the party, suggested that political appointments may require lobbying, something she has not engaged in.
“Anyway, I don’t even know how these appointments are being done.
“Maybe, people submit their resumes or make calls to some influential people to lobby for them, but at least a call to make an offer wouldn’t be bad,” she stated.
