It Was From A Movie Scene – Lil Win Explains Alleged Defamatory Attack On Martha Ankomah

Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has shed light on the viral video depicting him allegedly attacking actress Martha Ankomah, clarifying that the footage was from a scene in a movie he was filming.

During an appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Lil Win addressed the speculation surrounding the video, asserting that it was taken out of context and misinterpreted by viewers.

“The video I did is a movie. I was acting… I was not angry. I had done some makeup,” he explained, emphasizing the scripted nature of the sequence and expressing confidence in leaving the matter to be resolved through legal channels.

Martha Ankomah has initiated legal action against Lil Win, citing defamation of character.

Describing Lil Win’s rant contained in a viral video as denigrating to her person, Martha Ankomah among other demands, is asking a court to charge Lil Win an amount of GHC6 million.

In anticipation of the impending court proceedings, Lil Win stressed the importance of unity and collaboration within the entertainment industry, advocating for solidarity among industry stakeholders.
