The late Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr., widely known as Irv Gotti, will be laid to rest in an intimate funeral service in New York City.
The service, scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2025, will be attended by close family and select friends.
Initially, the family had planned a public memorial at Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica, Queens, a venue capable of holding up to 2,500 attendees.
However, they have opted for a more private farewell, with a separate public procession being arranged to allow fans and industry peers to pay their last respects.
Details of the procession will be announced in the coming days.

Gotti, a trailblazing music executive and co-founder of Murder Inc. Records, passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 54.
