In a recent episode of the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast for Glitch Africa, actress and socialite Efia Odo shocked listeners with a bold declaration.
Amidst a discussion on relationships and gender roles, Efia made an unexpected claim about her personal life.
“I’m still a virgin—well, in certain areas of my body,” she said, leaving her co-hosts and the audience taken aback.

Efia, known for her outspoken nature and confidence, further elaborated, explaining that while she is no stranger to love and romance, there are still aspects of her intimacy she has yet to explore.
“I’ve experienced relationships, but there are things I’ve reserved,” she added with a mischievous smile.
This revelation led to a larger conversation on the podcast about societal expectations and gender roles, particularly the pressure on women to conform to certain standards in relationships.
Efia, who has been vocal about female empowerment and independence, didn’t shy away from addressing these topics.
“People expect women to behave in a certain way when it comes to relationships. You’re either judged for being too forward or for being too reserved. It’s exhausting,” she remarked, sharing her thoughts on the double standards women face in romantic situations.
Efia Odo has never been one to hold back on discussing her personal life and opinions. Just a few months ago, she stirred controversy with her views on love, admitting she doesn’t believe in traditional marriage.
“I’m not here for that whole ‘husband-wife’ thing. If it happens, cool, but it’s not something I’m actively pursuing,” she said during an Instagram live session earlier this year.
