Adwoa Smart, a former star of the defunct Obra TV series, has revealed a personal aspect of her life during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM.
The actress, whose real name is Belinda Naa Ode Oku, shared that she is not currently in a relationship, despite being approached by “great men.”
“You only engage in some of these things when you have sorted out some critical things in your life,” Adwoa explained, reflecting on the need for emotional stability and readiness before diving into a romantic relationship. She went on to emphasize, “My mind is on more important things.”

Adwoa expressed her frustrations with modern relationships, explaining how some people mislead others.
“You’d get into a relationship only to find out your partner is married or with someone else. Due to this, I don’t like these things,” she said.
For her, these experiences have made her cautious, with the actress admitting, “These are great men, but I’m only being careful so I turn them down.”
Despite her wariness of relationships, Adwoa did offer a glimmer of hope for the future. “In God’s own time, I will give someone a chance,” she said.
