Nigerian comedian, Josh2Funny has confidently asserted his dominance in the comedy field by claiming that he stands alone in his own league.
During a recent appearance on ‘The Honest Bunch’ podcast, the skit-maker emphasized his unique talent and global reach.
He expressed his frustration towards fellow comedians who imitate his work without giving him credit.
Despite acknowledging the competitive nature of the content creation industry, Josh maintained that he has no equal among his peers.
Josh2Funny said; “What I won’t take is for people to be copying what I initiated without crediting me. No, I won’t take that.
“Let nobody tell you that there’s no competition in the comedy industry. There’s competition.
“As we speak now, my comedy is interpreted in Madarin, Hindi, Russian, French, and other languages. I’m not with you guys, bro. I’m not anybody’s mate in this comedy industry.”
Josh2Funny, born on 18 December 1990 in Anambra State, relocated to Lagos with his family at the age of eight. His rise to fame began with the viral success of his skit #DontLeaveMe. He gained further attention for his performance as the #fastest reader in the world on America’s Got Talent.
