Gifty Dumelo, wife of the newly sworn-in Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to supporting her husband as he embarks on his parliamentary journey.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025, she shared her excitement and outlined her plans to complement her husband’s work.

“I am very excited for him. This is a new journey, and we are all excited for him,” Gifty stated in an interview with Pulse Ghana.

She emphasized her intention to focus on advocacy for women and children, noting her passion for these areas.

“I think I will focus on women and children because I am very passionate about that. It’s a way to take off some of his workload and support him,” she added.
