I’ll Use Pastors And Chiefs To Beg Former Akwatia MP – Kate Gyamfuah

The National Women Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfuah has expressed her intention to extend an apology to Mercy Adu-Gyamfi, popularly known as Ama Sey.

In her pursuit of unity and the party’s determination to secure a consecutive term in office, Gyamfuah acknowledges the need to have everyone on board.

However, she has encountered difficulties in reaching out to Ama Sey, as the former Member of Parliament consistently ends their calls upon recognizing her. As a result, Gyamfuah plans to seek assistance from Chiefs, Clergy, and other influential figures to facilitate her apology to Ama Sey.

Gyamfuah firmly believes that resolving the conflict with Ama Sey, the only remaining individual in the NPP with whom she has a strained relationship, will not only streamline the party’s operations but also contribute to their success in breaking the eight-year cycle.

She stated:

“We need everyone on board. With unity, our success in the elections is assured. Me for example, Ama Sey is the only person who doesn’t talk to me in the NPP. I’ve tried to reach out to her but she keeps ignoring me.

I have made several efforts at ensuring that I meet her but it has proven futile. I have decided to use the Clergy among others to help me go and beg her and ask for forgiveness so that we can work together as one family.

We need everyone to forgive in the party so that we can, she said on Peace FM.
