Angel FM presenter Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has released an audio recording in which Pastor Isaac Owusu Bempah allegedly threatens him with violence.
This incident stems from comments Afrifa-Mensah made on his show, where he accused the pastor of taking women to a hotel for illicit activities, despite being married.
The recording has ignited a firestorm of controversy, raising questions about accountability and the intersection of faith and personal conduct.
In the audio clip, a visibly agitated Owusu Bempah expresses his frustration with Afrifa-Mensah’s allegations, stating, “You think you can just talk about me any way you like? Give me your location so I can teach you a lesson.”
His remarks have drawn criticism, particularly given his status as a religious leader. Owusu Bempah further asserted, “I have never claimed to be a holy man, so if I sleep with women, what’s the big deal?”

This incident is not an isolated one. Pastor Owusu Bempah, known for his charismatic preaching and prophetic claims, has faced scrutiny in the past.
He has been embroiled in several controversies, including accusations of making false prophecies and engaging in questionable behaviour that contradicts the moral standards often upheld by religious leaders.
His approach has drawn both fervent supporters and vocal critics, making him a polarizing figure in Ghana’s religious landscape.
Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah’s decision to go public with the audio recording is part of a broader narrative in which media personalities often take a stand against perceived hypocrisy among public figures.
