I’ll Take Biney to Court—Atubiga Reacts to Chief Biney and Afia Akoto’s Divorce

In the wake of the officially dissolved marriage between NDC’s Chief Biney and NPP’s Afia Akoto, political commentator Stephen Atubiga has waded into the conversation, expressing his disapproval of the separation.

According to him, the timing of the divorce is wrong, and he is prepared to take legal action to ensure the couple stays together.

“My brother Chief Biney can’t divorce my sister Afia at this moment. NDC is in power to also feed and support her, like she has done for us. Biney must wait for NDC to go into opposition one day before he can run away from this marriage,” Atubiga stated.

The outspoken politician did not hold back in his comments, suggesting that Chief Biney may not have been prepared for the responsibilities that came with being married to a woman like Afia Akoto.

“Afia Akoto’s bottocks is not for small boys, especially an inexperienced big bottocks handler like my brother Chief Biney. How can you run away from such a beautiful, intelligent woman—the dream of every man?”

Atubiga further revealed his determination to challenge the divorce, emphasizing that Chief Biney must take his wife back.

“I will take Chief Biney to court for the court to enforce their marriage back. Is he kidding me? As for me, I will not agree 100% for this divorce. How could you, Biney? I will go to court for this. Biney must take her back.”
