Ghanaian rapper Kweku Darlington has shared his views on the existence of supernatural forces and their influence on human life during an interview on Property FM in Cape Coast.
In a candid conversation with host Amansan Krakye, Darlington reflected on the importance of recognizing the reality of certain mystical beliefs that many people may have grown up hearing about, but perhaps never experienced firsthand.

“In this world, anything that has a name truly exists, so we should keep that at the back of our minds,” Darlington remarked.
His statement hints at a philosophical stance that what has been named or described by generations—whether seen or unseen—has some basis in reality. He urged listeners to take seriously the wisdom and warnings passed down from their elders, even if they haven’t personally encountered such phenomena.
The rapper specifically referenced common Ghanaian beliefs in dwarfs and witchcraft, elements of folklore and spirituality that are widely known in local culture.
“If you’ve ever heard the name Dwarf before, it exists, but maybe you’ve not seen it. And if you’ve heard witchcraft, it’s also there,” Darlington said, emphasizing that just because someone hasn’t encountered these things doesn’t mean they aren’t real.
Kweku Darlington’s message was a cautionary one—he advised people to live in a way that avoids attracting negative forces, whether they believe in them or not.
“Maybe you haven’t seen it, but it’s there, so live your life such that you won’t come into contact with some of these names,” he suggested.
The idea is to maintain a respectful distance from the unknown or unexplainable, particularly supernatural forces, lest one inadvertently become entangled with them.
The rapper went on to explain how personal experience shapes belief, noting that those who have witnessed or encountered supernatural occurrences firsthand have a deeper understanding of their reality.

“When you’ve not seen something or faced a certain situation before, you’ll doubt it when someone says it. But until it happens to you, you won’t believe that Juju is real,” he remarked.
