Prophet Kumchacha launched a personal attack on veteran actor Oboy Siki over comments Oboy Siki made about Afia Pokua’s apology at the Manhyia Palace.
The tension arose when Oboy Siki criticized the wisdom of those who accompanied Afia Pokua, also known as Vim Lady, to the palace to seek forgiveness, insinuating that their actions were foolish.
Kumchacha, known for his bold statements, did not hold back. He expressed his disdain for Oboy Siki, delivering harsh criticism of the actor’s appearance. “If Oboy Siki were my father, I’d rather take medication and die,” Kumchacha said bluntly.
He ridiculed Oboy Siki’s changing hair colours, comparing his look to a man struggling with age and poor fashion sense. “This is the same Oboy Siki who wakes up each day sporting a different hair colour.
His stomach resembles a toilet overflowing with animals,” Kumchacha remarked, clearly disgusted.
Kumchacha’s tirade didn’t stop there. He continued to belittle Oboy Siki’s physical appearance, likening his shape to an old, worn-out vehicle. “He looks as crooked as a bent truck for carrying timber, like a crooked car carrying sand,” he stated, painting a vivid and unflattering image of the actor.
The sharp critique reflects Kumchacha’s broader frustration with Oboy Siki’s public stance and his willingness to insult others under the guise of offering wisdom.
Afia Pokua, a prominent Ghanaian journalist and media personality, recently found herself in the spotlight due to an apology she issued at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
This was part of her effort to reconcile after a fallout with the leadership of the palace. The apology was prompted by some comments she made that were considered disrespectful, particularly towards traditional authorities.
Her decision to apologize involved taking a group of supporters with her to the palace, which drew criticism from some quarters, including Oboy Siki, who expressed disdain for those who accompanied her.
