Ibrahim Mahama has just augmented the fact that he is among the wealthiest men in Ghana after being photographed vacationing in the Seabreacher, which apparently costs a whopping $100,000.
The Ghanaian millionaire was observed operating the luxury vessel, which is estimated to have cost between $80,000 and $100,000. In a video that has virtually gone viral on social media, the brother of former president John Dramani Mahama is shown having fun while surfing on the Volta Lake in Ada.
Ghanaian blogger, Sika officially posted the video with the caption “somebody get Seabreacher for this country? Nah people get money for here walahi”. A Twitter user added that “First time wey I see this nor wey I know sey some ppl fit borrow money give the government sef herr… Still country hard hm”.
Seabreacher is a semi-submersible vessel. But what sets it apart from other boats is its ability to travel along the water’s surface while simultaneously diving up to two meters below the surface.
The name comes from the fact that it can then breach again, just like a whale, shark, or dolphin can. Seabreachers are operated with hand sticks and pedals and are jet-powered like a jet ski. The pilot has control over the craft’s pitch, yaw, and roll, just like in an airplane.
The hand sticks manoeuvre the Seabreacher’s wings, while the pedals position the jet nozzles.

Ibrahim Mahama is a Ghanaian businessman, and the founder of Engineers and Planners, the largest indigenous-owned mining company in West Africa, and the owner of several other businesses in Ghana including Dzata Cement Limited.
He reportedly has a net worth estimated to be $860 million. This makes him one of the richest men in Ghana.
