As Muslims throughout the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has sent a message of goodwill to his fellow countrymen.
After the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a day of prayers and celebration. On Saturday, April 22, as Muslims around the world celebrated the conclusion of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting.
In todays latest news the president tweeted these words, “I congratulate the Muslim Ummah of Ghana, and, by extension, the entire Muslim population of the world, for braving the pangs of hunger and thirst for an entire month.
“Besides the spiritual attainment of the month, they deserve commendation for the strict disciplinary code that they have adhered to throughout the period. I pray that Allah accepts our collective prayers, continues to shower his grace, mercies and peace on our nation, and makes her great and strong.”
“I wish all Muslims blissful and peaceful Eid ul-Fitr celebrations. May the Almighty Allah accept our worship, bless us all and our homeland Ghana, and make her great and strong.” he added.

How Is Eid Al-Fitr Celebrated
The Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr occurs first in the Islamic calendar. This holy holiday, which Muslims all over the world observe, marks the conclusion of the month-long fasting of Ramadan.
