Popular Ghanaian musician and businessman, Nhyiraba Kojo, has refuted claims that he was arrested in the United States, insisting that the reports are entirely false.
Speaking to blogger Bessah GH upon his return to Ghana at the Kotoka International Airport on March 4, 2025, he dismissed the allegations and threatened legal action against those spreading the misinformation.
“I have no issue with the police, Interpol or the FBI. I went to the US for business, and I have family there I went to visit. I’m going to take legal action. It’s not true. They enjoy saying things that aren’t true. So I’m going to take legal action this time around,” he stated.

Reports of his alleged arrest surfaced after images of him standing next to a police vehicle in the US began circulating online, with some media platforms claiming he had been picked up in connection with fraud-related charges linked to socialite Hajia4Reall’s case.
However, Nhyiraba Kojo clarified that the viral photo was taken out of context and had nothing to do with any criminal activity.
“That picture of me is the source of the problem. What happened was that I had parked in between two police vehicles and was navigating to my vehicle.
“If you saw the picture, there were no officers present or anything. The vehicle was just there. People saw that picture and just ran with it,” he explained.
