Spice’s stay in Ghana ahead of her music shoot with dancehall star Stonebwoy has been made truly memorable, thanks to a special culinary experience arranged by her host.
The Jamaican dancehall queen, known for her vibrant personality and hit tracks, expressed her desire to explore Ghanaian cuisine, and Stonebwoy went above and beyond to fulfil her wish.
“I told Stonebwoy I wanted to try every local food from Ghana, and he made it happen,” Spice shared joyfully in a video posted on her Instagram page. “OMG, thank you so much. I feel so at home.”
To honour her request, Stonebwoy curated a lavish buffet showcasing the best of Ghanaian dishes. The spread featured a variety of delicacies, including waakye, fufu, banku and tilapia, kelewele, omo tuo, apapransa, and ampesi.
As Spice sampled each dish, her excitement was palpable. “The food is amazing! Every bite has so much flavour,” she gushed. “I can see why Ghanaians are so proud of their food.”
Stonebwoy, who is known for his efforts in promoting Ghana on the global stage, explained the significance of the experience.
