President John Dramani Mahama has expressed deep gratitude to the people of the Western Region for their overwhelming support in the 2024 general election, assuring them of his commitment to national progress.

Speaking during his Thank You tour, which kicked off on January 24 in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital, Mahama emphasized his dedication to serving the nation with humility and purpose.

“I wish to first give thanks to the Almighty God for protecting and preserving our lives and sparing us to assemble here today to give glory to his name,” he stated, addressing a gathering of chiefs, opinion leaders, and supporters.

Standing in the heart of the Western Region, Mahama acknowledged the area’s rich history, natural resources, and potential, pledging to work towards unlocking new opportunities for its people.

“It is a great joy for me to stand here before you in the heart of the Western Region, a land of immense promise, rich history, and extraordinary potential.”
