Ghanaian gospel musician Empress Gifty recently opened up about her family background during an interview on Accra-based Channel One TV. In a candid moment, she shared, “I don’t know my father. I didn’t see my dad. He is dead.”
Her revelation sheds light on the challenges she faced growing up without the presence of her biological father.
Despite this absence, Gifty expressed immense gratitude for her stepfather, who played a pivotal role in her upbringing. “I am thankful to God for giving me a stepfather who nurtured and took care of me as his own daughter,” she reflected.
Meanwhile, a recent update regarding gospel musician Empress Gifty concerning her no-show on Onua TV saw her publicist downplaying the supposed beef of her absence might have caused.
Contrary to public speculation about a rift between Empress Gifty and another prominent figure, the publicist emphasized that the two “Empresses” share a strong friendship.
The publicist explained, “I know there is a perception out there that the two Empresses are beefing, but that is not the case. They are the best of friends.” This statement came as a reassurance to fans who have been concerned about the supposed tension.
