Controversial Nigerian socialite and influencer Bobrisky has taken to social media to announce a temporary departure from Nigeria, citing the need to prioritize his mental and physical health.
Known for his flamboyant personality and candid updates, Bobrisky shared his frustrations with what he described as ongoing interference by Nigerian security agencies, claiming they have been attempting to “frustrate” his travels. Despite the obstacles, he said his faith has helped him persevere.

“Yes I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health,” Bobrisky wrote in a recent post.
He went on to describe difficulties booking flights, stating he had to purchase three separate business-class tickets due to complications, with only one attempt proving successful.
“Imagine buying a business class ticket 3 times. Only 1 was successful. I know it’s not [the airline’s] fault, but it’s fine. Each business class cost me 9,800,000 naira.” After finally securing a flight, Bobrisky departed Nigeria on November 3, 2024.
Despite the considerable cost of his travel, Bobrisky’s message to his followers was characteristically blunt.

He urged critics to think before posting negative comments, advising, “Check your account balance if you can afford three business seats, not to talk of buying it three times. Well, I’m not in Nigeria, so your comments mean nothing.”
