Broadcaster Kwasi Aboagye recently shared that he once had exclusive information about actor Kwaku Manu and his wife during a rough patch in their marriage but chose not to reveal it to protect him.
The veteran radio personality said he is pained that today, Kwaku Manu harshly criticized him, hurling insults over his opinions on Afua Asantewaa as she prepared to embark on her Guinness World Records singing marathon late last year.
During a discussion on the Peace FM Entertainment Review, Kwasi Aboagye highlighted the lack of objectivity in Kwaku Manu’s criticism. Stressing the importance of discretion when giving feedback, the Peace FM presenter mentioned that he could have exposed sensitive details about Kwaku Manu’s previous marriage, which he had kept confidential for a long time.
Kwaku Manu strongly criticized Kwasi Aboagye for his negative remarks about Afua Asantewaa’s singathon, even though Despite Media had provided her with financial support to help her attempt to break the world record for the longest individual singing marathon.
Kwaku Manu expressed his disappointment with Kwasi Aboagye’s consistent habit of criticizing both celebrities and individuals who contribute to the betterment of the country.
He expressed his frustration with Kwasi Aboagye’s disrespectful behaviour and questioned whether he possessed more wisdom than Fadda Dickson, the Managing Director of Despite Media, who had approved the funds for Afua Asantewaa.
“In this world, if you have a father or relative like Kwasi Aboagye who does not want others to progress and thrives in talking about bad news it’s not easy. I think he did not mature intellectually with his physical growth. He has been jealous from infancy to this stage.
“If Someone wants to do something for the nation, what is your problem? Are you wiser than Kwame Despite or Fadda Dickson? Afua went to UTV and she was given the platform. He [Kwasi Aboagye] is jealous because of the money that was given to Afua Asantewaa by Despite Media and the attention she gets.”
