Ghanaian actress Tracey Boakye has opened up about her journey toward personal growth, her marriage, and her determination to leave past controversies behind.

Speaking in a video uploaded on scoal media, Tracey addressed those who continue to dredge up her past, revealing how such actions affect her and her family.

“When I was celebrating my one-year anniversary, people resurfaced the internet with my old videos.

“My husband has seen them all but has kept quiet and pretended as if he hasn’t,” she shared. Her tone reflected both gratitude and frustration as she praised her husband for his understanding nature.

Tracey admitted that her marriage is far from perfect, but she takes pride in the absence of public scandals involving her or her husband since tying the knot.

“I don’t have the perfect marriage, but after I got married, have you heard any negative issues about myself or my husband?” she questioned.

She credited her husband for being a calming influence in her life, a stark contrast to her previous reputation.

“Sometimes, my mother would tell me that she is surprised by the kind of man I got as a husband because everyone knows I like to fight and argue. But my husband doesn’t want trouble, and I have stopped my previous life,” she said.

Tracey also reflected on the lessons motherhood has taught her, particularly regarding her behaviour on social media.

“I don’t want to fight on social media again because it’s not necessary. I have a child, and he is growing so fast that lately if I want something to be fixed on my phone, he is the one I call. I don’t want him to grow up and see this character on social media.”
