Sarkodie has responded to claims made by rapper Kofi Mole and music director Yaw Skyface about his alleged absence during the video shoot for their collaborative track “Makoma.”
The dispute emerged after Kofi Mole revealed on Twitter that Sarkodie had failed to show up for the planned music video shoot, despite multiple attempts to get in touch with the rapper.
Kofi Mole, upon being asked by a fan why he hadn’t promoted the song with a music video, tweeted, “I was ready to shoot a video but never got any response from Sark and the team after multiple texts and calls. I let that slide.”

His frustration was compounded by the fact that no communication had been received, and he felt left in the dark.
The issue was further confirmed by music director Yaw Skyface, who appeared on Hitz FM and corroborated Mole’s claim. “We scheduled two dates for the ‘Makoma’ video shoot but @sarkodie never showed up,” Yaw Skyface said, adding more weight to the accusation.
However, Sarkodie has now responded, rejecting the notion that he had ignored the project or neglected his commitments.
“Yaa monma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo… have no idea about this and if it actually happened there was miscommunication somewhere only responding to this cos I got love for my superstar @kofi_mole. I don’t play games … I’m in or not,” Sarkodie clarified on his Twitter page.
