Renowned gospel musician Empress Gifty has refuted claims that she is boastful by stating that all she does is tell the world of her accomplishments.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Empress Gifty refuted the idea that she boasts. She explained, “I don’t brag; I say what I have, and that’s not bragging.”
The singer’s lavish social media posts and music videos often spark debate among others in the music business. But the singer said that she does that because she has the money to do so. “Empress, I have the money, and I shot the video, and the video is classy.”
She also issued a strong warning to trolls who harass her online. “I need to feel comfortable on pages, so if you come and disrespect me on there, I will put you in your lane.”
In a recent interview on Hitz FM, the award-winning singer spoke up about her concerns with the media’s misrepresentation of her private life and professional career in entertainment in Ghana. Several times she gave examples of how her comments had been misinterpreted by her fans and the general public because they had been taken out of context and the headlines had been sensationalised.
She wished to keep providing hope and encouragement through her music and called on the media to help promote musicians who do good in the world.
