On the latest edition of the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast, Efia Odo opened up about her departure from Eat Avenue and addressed some rumours that had been circulating.
One particular incident involved Medikal’s manager, who reportedly raised concerns after witnessing a misunderstanding at the restaurant.
“One instance, Medikal’s manager came there. They said my co-owner saw me chopping the guy at the restaurant. Like how?”
Efia Odo recounted, expressing her frustration at the rumours and misinterpretations that contributed to her exit.
She clarified that the situation was misrepresented and that she was unfairly targeted.
Efia Odo also discussed her approach to customer service at Eat Avenue. “I am someone who welcomes everyone. I am very hospitable and sociable. I will flirt with my customers because the more I flirt, the more money comes.
“I do it to both males and females just to let them know that I am not a welcoming person,” she explained. She emphasized that her behaviour was part of her strategy to enhance the customer experience and drive sales, rather than any personal agenda.
The Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast is a popular show that focuses on candid conversations and discussions about current events, personal experiences, and various hot topics.
The podcast features a mix of rants (passionate and often humorous takes on contemporary issues), bants (light-hearted, entertaining discussions), and confessions (personal revelations and behind-the-scenes insights).
