The Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale, has spoken openly about the unintended side effects of his rising popularity—especially the attention from female admirers.
In a revealing interview on TV3, Basintale shared frustration and humour as he addressed the growing number of women boldly vying for his attention on social media.
“I’ve been getting messages and seeing posts where people call themselves ‘Mrs. Basintale’ or ‘The Basintale Lady,’” he said, shaking his head with a smile. “It’s gotten to a point where it’s no longer funny. Please, I am taken. Leave me in peace!”
