Actor Salinko has clarified that a viral obituary poster circulating on social media, announcing his death, is a scene from a film. He emphasized that he is very much alive, contrary to the speculations.
The video gained traction and was misinterpreted to suggest his actual demise after his colleague Don Little shared it on social media, possibly as a promotional tactic for their movie.
Salinko further explained that the posters were created specifically for a storyline in the series they were filming. Therefore, there is no need for anyone to be alarmed or panic.
In a video shared by GhOne TV, Salinko urged the public to disregard any news regarding his death and prayed that such rumours would not come to pass.
“I’m not dead as it’s reported. We were shooting a TV series which is shown on UTV and there was a scene where we had to make a poster about myself. Don Little shared the poster with the inscription ‘What a shock’ on his page which made it go viral.
“So I want to assure my fans and beloved people to be calm because I am not dead. It happened when were shooting a series. So if there are such plans I cancel them in the name of Jesus and it shall never come to pass,” he said.
Prior to Salinko’s clarification, a significant number of his supporters were filled with concern and sorrow upon hearing the news, as they yearned for further elucidation regarding the circumstances surrounding his demise. This gave rise to a diverse range of viewpoints, with some individuals expressing their heartfelt tributes to him, while others maintained a skeptical stance towards the news.
