Actor Salinko has unfortunately revealed that the child he raised with his former girlfriend is not his biological son.
Salinko shared the details of a relationship in which he was deceived into believing that he was the father of a child who, as it turns out, is not biologically related to him.
At first, Salinko was filled with excitement about becoming a father after experiencing the loss of their first pregnancy. He mentioned that he supported his ex-lover throughout her pregnancy, even going so far as to let her stay in his luxurious mansion in Kumasi while he continued working in Accra.
However, just four months after the child was born, Salinko started to have doubts about his lover’s behaviour, which led to controversies surrounding the child’s paternity.
The situation took a turn for the worse when Salinko received a distressing phone call while working in Accra. He was informed that a man had accused him of taking away his lover and child from their home in Kumasi.
Shocked by this revelation, Salinko asked his girlfriend to leave his house while he returned to Accra to address the situation. To his surprise, the accuser turned out to be a fellow Kumawood actor whom he knew personally.
“After I sent her packing, she brought in her father to apologize on her behalf. I told them I am already attached to the child, so I will continue taking care until he grows, and I can afford a DNA. But deep down, we all know I am not the father,” Salinko revealed in an interview on Adom TV‘s Okukuseku.
