Tru News Report has come across an interview conducted by media personality Kofi Adoma Nwanwani with gospel artiste Diana Asamoah.

The veteran artiste expressed that if she had been more proficient in the English language, she could have become a prominent Evangelist in America and other countries.

Diana Asamoah elaborated that even before gaining fame, she was preaching on a bus at Neoplan station when she met an American man who was impressed by her evangelism.

The man had a translator who helped him understand her message. Impressed by Diana’s dedication to spreading the word of God, the man gifted her $50 and took her contact information, promising to stay in touch if he returned to the US.

Months later, the man kept his word and reached out to Diana.

However, the language barrier hindered effective communication between them as the translator was not present to translate the Twi language she spoke.

Diana expressed regret over the missed opportunity, believing that the encounter could have led to great things for her.

In other Diana Asamoah stories, the singer opened up about her transformation in beliefs and how it has impacted her perspective on Christianity.

In a televised interview on Sompa TV monitored by Tru News Report, she revealed that she had held onto certain dogmas for many years, but after gaining a deeper understanding, she decided to let go of them.

One of the doctrines that she mentioned was the belief that it was unholy to spend a night in a hotel. However, Diana Asamoah shared that she had changed her stance on this matter and had actually been staying in hotels during her business or personal trips.

She even mentioned that she would engage in fasting prayers while staying in these hotels, emphasizing that prayers said in such places hold even more power.

Diana Asamoah acknowledged that these ingrained doctrines had held her back in her Christian life.

She previously expressed on JoyPrime that she was brainwashed by pastors she encountered early on, who taught her misleading beliefs such as the prohibition of wearing wigs and makeup.
