President Joe Biden’s surprising withdrawal from the presidential race and his subsequent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris has sparked a flurry of reactions from American celebrities and individuals around the globe.
Biden announced on Sunday, July 21, citing that it was in the best interest of his party and the nation to step aside and concentrate solely on carrying out his duties as president for the remainder of his term.
He extended his full support and endorsement to Vice President Kamala Harris as the next Democratic presidential candidate.
This historic decision comes during mounting pressure from Democratic leaders, donors, and even celebrities who urged Biden to resign.
