The first season of “House of the Dragon” was based on George R. R. Martin’s book “Fire & Blood” and followed the Targaryen family’s descent into a civil war over who should inherit the throne.
“House of the Dragon” takes viewers back to the rich and complex world of Westeros, exploring the history of House Targaryen and the events that shaped the realm centuries before the events of “Game of Thrones.”
