Shatta Wale, the controversial Ghanaian musician, has spoken out about the lawsuit filed against him by his former manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod.
In an interview with NY DJ on BTM Afrika, Shatta Wale explained that he believes the lawsuit is simply an attempt by Bulldog to get his money.

“There’s no different cause of action. Bulldog just wants to take his money,” Shatta Wale stated, adding that Bulldog’s actions seemed driven by personal motives rather than a legitimate legal grievance.
The lawsuit stems from an unresolved financial matter between Shatta Wale and his former manager, who parted ways a while ago. However, Shatta Wale revealed that there was an attempt to settle the matter outside of court.
“We agreed to settle the issue out of court, but I haven’t honoured the payment yet,” Shatta Wale admitted.
According to the dancehall artist, when his team tried to make the payment, Bulldog was unavailable. He went on to explain that Bulldog’s behaviour since then, including his decision to file a lawsuit, feels like an act of malice.

Shatta Wale, never one to hold back in expressing his frustrations, compared Bulldog’s constant trips to the court to the daily routine of a local resident. “You see Bulldog, if this is the house, this is the court, so he wakes up and goes to court anytime,” Shatta Wale quipped.
“When a chicken clucks, he goes to court. When a taxi driver toots the horn, he goes to court because his house is just close to the court.”
