A Ghanaian man has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current economic difficulties in the country under the leadership of Nana Akufo Addo, stating that it is the worst he has ever witnessed.
He further mentioned that these hardships have even affected his personal life, preventing him from having sex with his wife. The young man believes that the president is well aware of this situation, as it has affected almost all men in Ghana.
This statement was made in response to the criticisms raised against John Dramani Mahama’s proposal for a 24-hour economy policy, which has gained attention on social media.
The Upper East Regional Minister, Mr. Stephen Yakubu caused a stir recently when he said Mahama’s policy would hinder men from spending quality time with their partners. These remarks were made in the presence of Mr. Anthony Namoo, the Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, and other party supporters.
Additionally, the minister asserted that the vice president understands the specific needs of the region and would not support Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy.
In response to this, the man who conversed with Tru News expressed scepticism towards the minister’s claim, stating that the current hardships exacerbate the difficulties faced by men in maintaining intimate relationships with their spouses.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the implementation of Mahama’s policy would greatly improve the economy, and as a result, he and other supporters eagerly anticipate his presidency to witness its successful implementation.
