Veteran actor Hanks Anuku has been sighted in a trending video leading a demonstration.
He was accompanied by numerous Nigerians who took to the streets to voice their dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of the country’s economy, marked by widespread poverty.
The video captures Hanks waving the Nigerian flag and passionately speaking out against hunger.
Some Nigerians were unimpressed by his actions, questioning why a renowned Nollywood actor would spearhead a protest and raise awareness about hunger.
On the other hand, some supported him and reiterated the message of the protest, praising him for bringing the government’s attention to the widespread issue of hunger plaguing many Nigerians.
