John Dramani Mahama has stated strongly that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will emerge victorious in the 2024 presidential elections.
The former president who is eyeing a sensational comeback revealed that the victory will be delivered to them by God. He also mentioned that his opponents from the incumbent side are afraid of him.
He disclosed this when his campaign train made a stop at Wenchi on Sunday, March 12.
In the upcoming NDC primaries, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, a previous leader of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Kojo Bonsu, and businessman Mr Ernest Kobea are all contesting against Mr Mahama.
However, Mr Mahama assured the audience that he is the ideal candidate to serve as the NDC’s flagbearer in 2024. He asserted his conviction that God will grant the NDC success. He urged party members to support him so that he could be chosen as the flagbearer.
“I am confident that God will give us a victory. Let us vote massively for the NDC and support one person. All four aspirants, the NPP are not scared of anyone except one, they are scared of Mahama,” the 2020 presidential candidate for the party said.
